Ingredients: - 1 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp ground nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 3 eggs
- 3/8 cup 2% milk
- 3 tbs butter
- 1 onion
- 1 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
Directions: - Sift together
- Beat eggs in medium bowl
- Alternately mix in milk & flour until smooth
- Let stand 30 minutes
- Boil large pot of water (slightly salted)
- Press batter through spaetzle press into water
- When batter floats to top, remove with slotted spoon
- Mix in 1 cup shredded cheese
- Melt butter in saucepan, cook onion until golden
- Stir in sapetzle and remaining cheese until well blended
- Serve immediately
